submitted by Kelly K. - |Recommended: YesI APPRECIATE OUR MOST RECENT MANAGEMENT TEAM MYLA SHE HAS PROVIDED TOP NOTCH CUSTOMER SERVICE AND HAS PROVIDED PATIENCE WHILE I ENDURED A HARDSHIP BATTLING ILLNESS AND INABILITY TO CONSISTENTLY MAINTAINING FOLLOWING DIVORCE ILLNESS ETC. I CAN APPRECIATE HAVING SOMEONE TO BE RESPECTFUL AND UNDERSTANDING OF MY ISSUES . ALTHO THERE ARE THINGS I WISH THIS PROPERTY WOULD IMPROVE ON SUCH AS PARKING ISSUES I REALLY APPRECIATE REAL PEOPLE. submitted by Ashley S. - |Recommended: NoOverall Property — On any given day trash is spilled over. Maintenance don’t show up when they do they rarely resolve the issues. My place have several huge holes that maintenance made never came back to repair, I have a smelly dishwasher that nobody came back to repair, my bell doesn’t work and no one has come back to repair.

submitted by Misrak E. - |Recommended: YesL Love My Unit — The manager, Myla, is a really friendly and accommodating woman. She makes sure I enter the desired unit and walks me through everything. The staff at the leasing office are kind and professional. On-time coming of maintenance addressed the problem. a very peaceful and nice setting. My biggest issue at the moment is parking. Some days, there are not enough parking spaces. During my first few weeks, I saw people parking in the fire lane and on the side when there was nowhere else to go.  On the fourth week at 10 pm., there was no parking spot available, so I parked on the side space.  Unfortunately, my car was towed, and I had to call 911 to find out where it was taken. I also had to pay 218 to get my car back.

submitted by William N. - |Recommended: NoLow Class Woodridge High Price Rentals — The new management is the best thing going for this rental complex. It looks like the projects, the children are terrible and nasty might i add they are starting to climb the fence where construction is taking place. The parents are nasty and allow their children to leave trash all over the place and expect for maintenance to clean it up. People are always parking in our paid for spots and Contract towing is horrible good luck with getting a decent person on the phone there. We have lived here since 2018 and at one point the children were in order the place was clean and everyone had screens which made the place look presentable. Now it looks like the projects and they keep increasing the rent but not the quality of service received and they refuse to replace the screen doors that are missing and our awning blew off during a storm and has never been replaced a total disappointment and we will be moving very soon.

The new office manager is amazing very professional and efficient. The maintenance staff is awesome however the upkeep of the grounds is nonexistent possibly due to the new residents and their unclean children and guests that leave trash in the parking lots as well as in front of playground and other areas on the property. It looks like the projects of HIghcrest which is very disheartening considering the amount of money i pay and the location of the property. I also pay for two parking spaces both are inaccessible to me depending on what time either myself or family members get home and one is always flooded when it rains.

The grounds don’t look maintained with fresh mulch or pressure washed. For the price you pay it’s a nice unit, but there’s a lot of add-ons that I was not aware of prior to moving in.

submitted by Letitia W. - |Recommended: NoNegative — So I pay market rate which high and once they add all the hidden fees on top. You really don’t see how much it really is until you sign the lease and receive the first months bill. The only reason I would refer this complex to someone is if they wanted some where to live that excepts a lower credit score. Other than that it’s absolutely over priced for the quality of living… poor air circulation, extremely high water bills because its split with other tenants and there are constant problems with water leaks and pipes. You pay for laundry, You pay for everything and still as if you are in a home and it’s not worth it. Yes they did renovations but I feel like the work done in my unit was so tacky and a botched job and done on top of old and out dated materials. Maintenance has flooded my unit a few times and the bare minimum was done to make sure that there was no visita le mold however I’m sure it still in the cabinets and floors. I would be cautious.

submitted by Ayanna S. - |Recommended: NoManagement sucks There are so many issues with Highcrest townhomes management. They appear to rotate management like toilet tissue. I have been residing at Highcrest for over 6 years and for 6 months last year I had added someone on my lease. When it was time for lease renewal, management at that time informed me what I need to do to get the lease in my name only again. I obliged. I was assured that everything was handled and that the lease was only in my name. Now the new management is saying differently and requesting additional paystubs. This is very concerning as my my paystubs has my personal information on there. What happened to the documents that I submitted previously So now I have my ex, which is married now, on my lease I requested to speak to the boss of the manager to no avail. Please stay away and find another place to live. I pay 2,000 a month for a terrible experience and living arrangements with outdated old appliances. Totally not worth the .
